At Planting Fundamentals, we believe individuals with disabilities deserve more than a life of waiting.
As a sibling of someone with severe cognitive delays and a teacher with over a decade of experience, I've seen what happens when opportunities are limited: too many individuals are left at home, placed in underfunded programs, or given work without dignity or purpose.
We exist to change that.
Through partnerships with Pasture Prime Farms and other community organizations, our clients gain real work opportunities to build skills, independence and confidence. On the farm, they plant, care for crops, harvest and assist with daily upkeep. In our Warehouse Community, individuals maintain a welcoming environment, contribute to hands-on projects, and build skills that support independence and wellness. This isn’t about busy work or hard labor. It’s about discovering purpose, joy and pride in meaningful contributions. We want every client to say with confidence, “That’s my work. I belong there”
At Planting Fundaments, our clients grow more than skills – they grow roots in their community.
